Are you interested in designing a permaculture based regenerative herb garden, but want to learn how to do it yourself? Do you want support in finding and creating more community opportunities for mutual aid or community herbalism work? Do you want to not only grow your own herbs, but create a home or business apothecary, mutual aid or community dispensary, or just figure out how to make the most of what you grow? Did you take our online course but want to dig deeper with custom consulting and support? Have you launched a business that needs support as you develop your right livelihood, sustainability initiatives, or social systems design?
Private education and mentorships are for folks who want to study a more specialized subject such as seed saving, seed starting, apothecary design, permaculture design, community empowerment or other models. Mentorship can also be targeted towards social justice, community organizing, and mutual aid systems. Using permaculture principles to hone your activism and become a skillful advocate and communicator focused on Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share. I offer ongoing mentorship beginning each fall and winter to help folks get their gardens designed and help get you going on your medicinal permaculture garden. Mentorship is a series of zoom calls to help you as you create your garden or community project. I consult with you to help you from a permaculture design perspective that allows you to grow in a way that is best for your needs while also caretaking the earth. Mentorships start in fall and winter so that you are ready by growing season. By working with me in a mentorship program, you can get one on one interaction, we can discuss specific topics, and I can review your design as you go, providing constructive feedback, ideas, and inspiration. Want some one on one, but really more like a private class and not an ongoing mentorship? I can do that! Mentorship is a one on one interaction where we focus on your goals and needs and meeting monthly (or more if you want more time) via zoom/video call. Fill out the form to the right and let me know a little more about you and your needs so we can see if you are a good fit. |

For aspiring herbalists and herb growers in the greater Dane County, Wisconsin area, there are opportunities for learning in a hands-on environment here at Wholly Rooted farm during growing season.
We grow medicinal herbs for Herbalists Without Borders here, and intake and distribute donations for free clinics, disaster response, community outreach, and community education models throughout the US. As an intern or volunteer, learn how this system works, get hands on experience making aromatherapy and herbal products, understand inventory management, labeling, and tracking, and get your hands in the dirt as we grow seed to seed. This is currently limited to warmer months due to covid. The minimum age for internships or volunteering opportunities is 18 - though we welcome older teens and young adults. We are a LGBTQIA2+ inclusive space. |
